The framers finished a few weeks ago and this is about how they left it. We have a fully sheathed roof with dormers. I'm almost 100% happy about how it turned out. I'm still having some struggles with the height on the dormer roofs and spent the last 2-3 weeks trying to find someone to fix them with no luck. Our framer will be back around Murray tomorrow and is going to stop by and give us a price. That will determine if they are staying or getting taller by a measly 6 inches that probably no one will notice but me. Oh and for sure my dad.
What do you think? Seriously I need input. Text me, call me, email me, page me.
Had to keep those guys happy!
Seriously the best framing crew leaving for the last time. Our kids were late to school the next day without our 7AM wake up call by their drills and hammers.
Since then we fired the contractor, (long, dramatic and probably uninteresting story) have had the synthetic felt paper put all over by the roofers which technically is supposed to "dry you in"(not sure that has totally worked), had the rough plumbing done, and the HVAC is about finished. Those guys have been gems to work with as well. Our windows get installed tomorrow and our electrician starts this week. Tomorrow we have a guy coming to bid hauling out dirt. Let's all cross our fingers that it's cheap. Real cheap. Mm hmm... right.
